Karaoke Walk-Up Songs
Give Every Singer a Star Entrance
SmartMic lets singers choose a walk-up song that plays when they're called to the stage — just like a baseball player's entrance music. Powered by Beatsource integration with millions of tracks.
😤 The Problem with Traditional Karaoke
Paper lists get lost, messy, and cause arguments
"When am I up?" ...the #1 question DJs hear all night
No visibility into queue position for singers
Regulars get skipped, new singers dominate the list
✅ How SmartMic Solves It
Live digital queue. Singers see their position in real-time
74,000+ song catalog with instant search from any phone
Smart rotation algorithm tracks laps for fairness
DJ admin panel with one-tap queue control
🎶 Personal Walk-Up Songs
Each singer saves up to 10 walk-up songs in their profile. When they're called to stage, their selected track plays automatically through the venue speakers.
Walk-up songs are searched via iTunes with album art preview, making selection quick and accurate. Songs are saved to the singer's profile and work across all venues.
👾 Beatsource-Powered Playback
Walk-up song playback uses Beatsource integration — millions of licensed tracks. The DJ needs Beatsource enabled in their Setup Wizard for auto-playback.
Free Beatsource account allows per-track purchase. Pro+ ($9.99/mo, 14-day trial) enables streaming for walk-up songs and BG music.
🤖 Part of Full Automation
In full automation mode, walk-up songs play automatically, crossfade with AI announcements, and transition to karaoke tracks — all hands-free.
If a singer is skipped or no-shows, the system moves to the next singer's walk-up automatically. The experience works with or without walk-up songs set.
