Singers save up to 10 walk-up songs in their SmartMic profile using iTunes-powered search with album art preview. They can change their selection before each show or keep the same entrance music all season.
DJs see a 🎶 icon next to singers who have a walk-up song set. In full automation mode, the walk-up plays automatically. In manual mode, DJs trigger it with one tap from the cockpit.
🎵 How Walk-Up Songs Work
1) Singer sets a walk-up song in their profile (searches iTunes, picks from results). 2) DJ starts the night in Standalone Mode with Beatsource enabled. 3) When Auto-DJ calls the singer, SmartMic searches Beatsource for the walk-up track and plays it. 4) After the announcement finishes, the walk-up fades out and the karaoke track loads.
If a singer doesn't have a walk-up song, the regular BG music plays between singers instead. If a singer is skipped, the system moves to the next singer's walk-up automatically. The experience degrades gracefully — everything works with or without walk-up songs.
